A Myth of the Doe

From a deer therian to you, we gift you a bit of magic today. Called in from the spirits of the deer and the wolf, this story is about what it means to be transgender. The animist side of this experience, and the texture it gives to one's life. Are you trans, or looking to learn more about trans people? Are you a therian of any kind, especially deer? This story is for you.

We, the plural system of a trans girl, wrote this as much as visceral exploration of our heart as anything else. Pour yourself a cup of tea, queer traveller;  give an offering to the soul of the doe and journey with us into emotions newly-charted~

This story is graphic in nature. It is an intense read, intended for an adult audience, and does touch on sexuality. Detailed content warnings are included in the PDF, on the last pages.

Note on the audio version of this story and the commentary track: 

These files are provided as MP3 files. We were considering having other file formats (like .ogg or something) also available, and then closed the audio project without saving it after only exporting MP3s. So unless someone asks for it, we'll just have MP3s here. Also, we were originally intending to have the story and the commentary on the same track, and when the commentary ran long we decided to split it into two. So, they are two now, eventhough on the track itself we mention they'll be together. If you decide to listen to that track, just remember that we're plural. :3 It might be confusing to keep track of who is who while we're talking since we share a throat (relatable, we get lost in the sauce sometimes too), and that track is just us talking to ourselves. It is also adult in nature.
